CE 252

KVM Extender

The CE252 allows access to your KVM installation through a local console,or a remote console placed up to a distance of 300m(1000') away. Both the local and remote units support PS/2 consoles. In addition to these features,the CE252 includes a convenient port at the remote unit to connect an extra computer. This allows the remote user to combine their desktop computer with the remote console for increase efficiency and productivity.

	Features
	Uses Cat 5e cable to connect the local and remote units (up to 300m apart)
	Dual Console Operation - control your system from both the local and remote
	PS/2 keyboard, mouse and monitor consoles
	Additional PC connection allowed for the remote unit
	Pushbutton selection - sequential selection between local and auto mode
	Two gain control modes provided for the sharpest video quality-adjustable or
	automatic
	Adjustable gain control - manually adjusts signal strength to compensate for
	distance
	Automatic Gain Control - automatically adjusts signal strength to compensate
	for distance
	High video resolution - up to 1600 x 1200
	Supports DDC2B for local monitor (display data channel for communication
	between graphic card and monitor)
	Supports VGA, SVGA, and Multisync Monitors
	Built-in 8KV ESD protection and 2KV surge protection
	Local unit takes its power from the computer - external power is only required
	when the power from the local computer/computers in the KVM installation is
	insufficient
	Multiplatform support: Windows 2000/XP/Vista.
